Tuesday, July 13th

2:00pm: Depart Duluth for MSP

7:20 pm: Depart MSP for Reykjavik (6 hour flight)

Wednesday, July 14th

6:20 am : Arrive in Reykjavik (3:20 am our time)

8:15 am : Depart Reykjavik for Copenhagen (3 hour flight)

1:15 pm: Arrive in Copenhagen (6:15 am our time)

Take Shuttle from Airport

Check into: Crowne Plaza Hotel Copenhagen Towers

Tour Copenhagen - Attractions:

· Tivoli Gardens – worlds largest amusement park, closes with fire work display ($15 for admission, rides sold sepratley) go in the evening!!!

· Amalienborg Palace- Residency of Danish Royal Family

· Nyhavn Canal- The picturesque historic Nyhavn Canal, dating from 1673 when it was built to connect the inner city to the sea, is today colloquially known as the ‘longest bar in Scandinavia’. This is because the pretty pastel-painted old townhouses that line the canal are fronted with numerous restaurants, pubs and cafes, full of action and entertainment 24 hours a day. The canal itself is crammed with old wooden sailing ships, adding to the atmosphere.

· Den Lille Havfrue “The Little Mermaid” statue – fairy tale by the Danish poet and author Hans Christian Andersen

· Smorrebrod –open faced sandwich

· Our Savior's Church (Vor Frelsers Kirken) - Legend tells that the staircase around the spire was built curving in the wrong direction, and when the architect saw what he had done he jumped from the top

· Karl Johans Street (Karl Johans Gate) - Oslo's bustling main street is filled with shops and cafes.

· The Royal Palace -Changing of the guard daily at 1:30PM. Guided tours are available during the summer.

· National Gallery – houses “The Scream” by Edvard Munch

· Holmenkollen ski jump - 1952 Winter Olympics
